Barrier-free fonts are designed in such a way that the letters can also be distinguished by people with impaired vision. When developing the Berlin typeface, for example, we deliberately emphasized certain features of letters in order to create a font that is as legible as possible.
One key aspect is ensuring that individual letters are easily distinguishable from one another. When letterforms are too similar or too tightly spaced, they become harder to read, especially for users with visual impairments or dyslexia.
Clear, well-spaced, and uniquely shaped letters help everyone read with greater ease and confidence. That’s why we prioritize typography that supports legibility — because every user deserves a smooth and accessible reading experience.
We have already developed accessible fonts for our clients:
Accessible typography ensures that texts are clear and readable for everyone. By using legible fonts, strong contrast, ample line spacing, and thoughtful structure, we enhance accessibility and user experience, especially for those with impaired vision.

When implementing accessible web content, various rules and guidelines must be followed. To put it simply, there are four principles that must be followed.
Perceivable
Content must be presented in ways that users can perceive, including those with sensory disabilities, such as providing text alternatives for images.
Operable
Users must be able to navigate and interact with the interface, using different methods like keyboard navigation.
Understandable
The information and operation of the user interface should be clear, intuitive and responsive accross all devices.
Robust
Content should be compatible with various user agents, including assistive technologies.
